Project description: The Decision Making Under Deep Uncertainties (DMDU) project aims to shift the paradigm from a traditional ‘predict-then-act’ model, which optimizes based on a single ‘best-guess’ future (forecast), to a model that stress-tests plans to minimize regrets across a spectrum of potential scenarios (foresight). It will develop the DMDU tool with AI/machine learning data analytics that supports the development of a socio-economically efficient transport system, particularly in a long-distance planning context in Sweden

:Requirements
passed a second cycle degree (for example a master’s degree), or
completed course requirements of at least 240 higher education credits, of which at least 60 second-cycle higher education credits, or
acquired, in some other way within or outside the country, substantially equivalent knowledge
strong research experience in transport modeling, optimization, simulation, and data analytics, and technical skills programming in Python
In addition to the above, there is also a mandatory requirement for English equivalent to English B/6
